Hirotake's Fort is a cave

[5/25 Indulge in thoughts? ] It is a continuation of]. Hirotake, who has been subjected to moxibustion, has recently been using a cave in Bear Point as a fort. As if "The housekeeper has seen it!", I stepped out of the cave and checked the bear gathered in front of Bear Point. When Kumaemon comes, he hides in the cave, and when he disappears, he comes out, repeatedly. Visitors said, "There are various brown bear worlds," and they couldn't take their eyes off Hirotake. Top left: Check who is in front of Bear Point Top right: Hirotake peeking out of the cave. There is a scar above the right eye. Lower left: A little outside to the plow where Kumaemon went to the pond... Bottom right: Kumaemon has returned, so hurry back to the cave

Catch the scene???

Misumi and Kumaemon broke hirotake's nose, who were tengu. I caught the appearance of meeting with hisohiso in Sasa bush beforehand??? Misumi's mouth is just like, "All right, I'm going first, so if you give me a signal, come out." It seems that Kumaemon in Sasabubu also lurks, "Ok, I'm hiding here and on standby." I'm not sure if I had such a meeting, but the breeding staff stared at the secret meeting of the bear from the jeep.

Indulging in thought?

Hirotake is still a mischievous bear, such as chasing rainbow trout vigorously in a pond because it is 9 years old and young, and leaning in from behind other bears and clinging to gaburi. Have you recently become stronger and want to save yourself the skills of your fight? The trouble with other bears stands out. But his test of skill was a problem of surprise attacks at only bears weaker than him. When a strong bear comes near you, it will not be gone... Moxibustion has been put away at last in such Hirotake. Misumi fights for 1 or 2 with the strength of the fight. The two were meeting at BarePoint and appealing each other's existence with a back rubbing. And it develops into a fight from the voice of intimidation, And Bear Emon who teamed up with Misumi also participated and fought 2-on-1! Hirotake, who was also motivated, also twisted his ears behind his ears and "Maita~" Hirotake's long nose, which was completely tengu, was broken, and she lost confidence. The worry that a weak bear and an old bear were injured decreased, but hirotake seemed to stare at the distance, and indulge in the desire even today only three days later. Do young bears grow up by experiencing "losing" like this? This time, I want you to do your best not to fight, but to take fish. 【Zookeeper: Ito】

Rainy days are also fantastic

Even though it is the second half of May, the temperature in Sahoro is 9 °C (as of 9:00). It's cold. However, it is said that it is a temperature that can be spent comfortably for brown bears. And even if it rains, we are acting the same as usual. I don't like it, but rather, the temperature does not rise during the day, so it is actively moving around. This is the day! I think that it is suitable for the observation of the brown bear. It is foggy now, and this is also fantastic. o○ The appearance of the brown bear walking in the fog is also the one. We rent plastic umbrellas (free of charge), and if you get on the bare-watching bus, you will have less time to hit the rain. Whether the weather is nice or bad, the brown bears are at their care, so don't worry about the weather<(_ _)>

Park golf course in front of Sahoro Resort Hotel, OPENED. This sport is fun for children because it uses one club dedicated to park golf and a special ball larger than a golf ball. On the way home from the banquet?!

I was able to take a special photo, so I will upload it immediately! Shingo, 25, the oldest in Bear Mountain. Looking at Shingo's face that came out of the sasayab, I almost blew out! The branch sticks to Shingo's nose. It's as if a father at a banquet put disposable chopsticks on his nose. This person in question is very usual. Is there any discomfort in your nose? After that, it seemed to have been able to take it naturally and it was relieved. (If you look closely, it was a part of the stem of bamboo grass, not a branch) But did it stick to it when eating food? Is it when you're flinching? I'm not sure, but zookeepers may also be surprised. Please observe the behavior of the bears carefully when you come. 【Breeding Staff: Ito】

You've probably eaten clover somewhere. I put food scraps around my mouth and my nose and saw this place with my gokigen face. Don't you look like you're saying ,"It was so delicious"! ? When you put it in Hokkaido dialect, it is "Umara Umatebeya" (laughs)

Good luck Joiner!

≪NEWS≫ Joiner was chasing rainbow trout in the pond of BarePoint! Joyner who enters the pond first grouses the ditch of the shallow water by the hand. (You remember it properly because you've found fish here before!) Put your face on the water and slowly move deep into the pond, "Are there any fish?" And rainbow trout found! It jumps with great virch aiming at a small fish! However, it is not possible to catch the rainbow trout which is small and moves fast easily. In between chasing rainbow trout, lying logs, hugging logs, rubbing your body against rocks, innocently watching joiners playing vigorously are very excited. Unfortunately I couldn't catch it, but I was satisfied playing a lot or left bare point. Next time...! I want to expect it. I think that it will increase to play in the water when the temperature goes up from now on. Please come and observe the bears playing innocently.

The back of the forefoot

I took a pleasant nap in front of Bare Point. The soles of my feet looked good, so I was very comfortable. Up's forefoot is on the left. In human beings, the thumbs are thick and the little fingers are thin, but the brown bears are thicker and larger on the little toes. But is this big sole soft? Is it hard? Ask the breeding staff.

Claw marks

The markings I often see rub the back side against the standing tree, but I took a close shot because I was facing the stomach side to the standing tree as if climbing a tree. When I looked closely, it seemed that the nails of the forefoot were sharpened with wood. There are many standing trees in the park where you can see the marked parts of the back rubbing and claw marks. It is particularly easy to find when riding a bare-watching bus, so please check the marking marks at the same time as looking for bears. This ← taken in the winter when the park is closed.

Buhi!

Koji has a crisp face, but today it is such an interesting face ...! The top of the bear cave in Bear Point is often a place where bears take a nap, but koji scissors the branches of the fallen tree with the front paws. When I watch the bears play in a hurry and take a rest with a calm expression, it softens to this place somehow. 【Breeding Staff: Ito】

No matter how early! ? Ciccad Seashell

Spring is coming early! It is said, but summer is already in Sahoro! ? I found the shell of the cicadas!!!! Even though I found it, this shell was from last year. As expected, the ciccadas do not cry yet. It is about a 2-minute drive from Bear Mountain. It is the north building square of Sahoro Resort Hotel. Every year, native flowers such as katakuri and Ezo-engosaku seen in mid-to-late May bloomed on April 24th this year. It is a shell which I found when I went to take a picture of the flower. You endured without falling still in the snow that piles up more than 1m. The larvae might be waiting for summer to come still in the soil now.

Bear Emon, Rainbow Trout Get!

On May 3, 4, and 5, I went to "Challenge to catch rainbow trout!" Could you take a look? I took the first video (11:00) today (5/5), so please enjoy it for both those who watched the real thing and those who did not. - Clinton who could not catch rainbow trout in the pond, to push to try to intercept rainbow trout near Kumaemon. Can you take it well?!

Cherry blossoms are also in full bloom! It's warm and cheerful like early summer and hot for bears?! Today, we released rainbow trout as a GW event. The movement seemed to have struggled with a small rainbow trout, but Koji and Kumaemon suppressed with their forefoot splendidly, and caught it. Joyner grabs a fish and quickly goes into the bushes so that other bears can't find it. After that, I tasted it slowly. The photo may be a little small and confusing because it was taken from the top of the promenade, but koji is holding down rainbow trout with the front paws and eating it. Rainbow trout release is scheduled from 11:00 to 13:00 on May 4 and 5. We look forward to your coming! 【Breeding Staff: Ito】

Newcomer?

Today, a new bear came to Bear Mountain. Masato 30 years old ♂ bear of the highest age in Bear Mountain. The feature is a red body, yellow eyes, always raising both hands. Well, it is a bear drawn by footprint painting rather than real. From the ticket office 2F to the bare-watching bus stop, the "bear footprints" painted by the visitors continue. Please proceed to the park while enjoying this place. The footprints are almost the same size and stride as life-size.

I'm playing for 30 seconds!

Yesterday (5/1), I went to Promote Bear Mountain at STV's Dosanko Wide 180 "Street Corner 30 Seconds Game". As expected, the appearance of the walk tour was floating in front of Sapporo Station, but I did not worry about the piercing glance and advertised energetically. Could you take a look? On May 3, 4, and 5, brown bears will try to catch rainbow trout, and there are plenty of events such as hot air balloon experience test ride! The cherry blossoms in Sapporo were about to end, but the cherry blossoms of Sahoro are likely to be in full bloom during GW. tail

When I went to see the cherry blossoms in the park, it was still a bud. The cherry blossoms of Karikatsu Kogen across the national highway were quite plump. Even though it is only 2 to 3 km away, the altitude is also different, so the difference comes out. About a 15-minute drive from Bear Mountain, the cherry blossoms in Shintochi town began to bloom and pink came. The flower of the fist has come to prominence, too. Well, I was able to take a rare cut when I was shooting a bud of cherry blossoms, so I will upload it. Tail I gave my tail and was doing feces. The shape varies depending on the individual, so please observe when you come.

The Chishima cherry tree under the signboard entering Sahoro Resort from National Route 38 and Karikatsu Pass has blossomed. After all, is it about 1 week to 10 days earlier than last year? Last year, sahoro was able to ski in the first half of GW, but now there is a little snow near the summit. Even though it is warm, this is a mountain. And Bear Mountain is out. If you want to observe brown bears carefully, we recommend thick clothes. The weekly weather is forecast to be "sunny" during GW, with the highest temperatures forecast to be 12-16 °C and the lowest temperatures to 0-4 °C.
