The opening is finally approaching tomorrow.

DSC00756.JPGLast night's rain has stopped, and today the bears were playing in the water, relaxing in the shade of the trees, and playing in their own ways.

There are skunk cabbages along the stream in the park!

To our delight, Ezo red frogs are laying eggs in the biotope built by the zookeepers inside Bear Point. The frogs were also very popular with the new first grade students from Shintoku Town who came today.

Please come and see the nature and impressive bears of Hokkaido. All the staff are looking forward to seeing you!
