fluffy

The bears' fur has also become winter-soaked, and the appearance has become voluminous. It seems that mokomoro fashion is popular recently (?!) If that's the case, I think that joiners are keeping the trend in check these days (laughs) Spring → Autumn The size is completely different. (^^;) It's not just because of the fur that it looks bigger because it eats in the fall, but when I weighed my joiner last year, I found that it didn't look as big as I expected. What's going on with his hair? I want to touch that fluffy fur (although I can't) A joiner who hustles and plays on a small mound of endpoints. I was playing for almost 20 minutes today. Mischievous Bonzu

When I was sorting out the equipment in the room, I heard a clacking sound from the ventilation opening. I thought that the staff was inspecting the ventilation openings, but I didn't know what was going on, so I went to see what was going on in front of the glass, and Hirotake appeared with an aluminum lid in it. "Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Hooray!" I was wandering around for some reason, so I wondered if I would do anything. I thought so, but sure enough, he did it. It seems that he has stretched out his back and stretched out his hands to find a new toy. Very proudly, I went into the pond and started playing. In the middle of the video, there is a scene where Hirotake stands up with his forelimbs in between. I'm sure the viewer probably felt it, but don't you think that expresses the emotion of "Yay!" with your whole body?! (laughs) I can't get angry when I see such a thing... ( ́ー') I can only say that please moderate the pranks. As an aside, I've heard that "playing with tools" is a sign of high intelligence. The story of Misumi, a beauty lover

Today was the day I was in charge of the barn. (Depending on the day, we will guide or ride a jeep) Send the bears into the park and start cleaning the room! Hmmm, the amount of poop is tremendous! Eat a lot and get out a lot. Looking at the room of 18 horses, I thought that the way the room was used was also unique. Today's theme is "What I thought when I saw Misumi's room"! The poop is always grouped together on the human aisle. The floor is dry and clean... And he always poops in the water bowl (it's hard to clean!). < conversation when we chatted about Misumi's personality> M: Meticulous Kanji? And temperamental. I'm always serious about Hirotake. (But maybe Hirotake is being teased because he deliberately acts like he's being chased by Misumi?) K: I'm more vigilant than anyone else! Adult bears that don't dwell around (laughs) Me: I feel like I'm drawing a line between me and humans. He has a lot of pride as a bear...? It's a nerve-wracking bear, isn't it? I was amazed when I skillfully removed the small grains of Yama grapes from the bunches with my mouth and hands and ate them! K: He's better at fighting than other bears. It's like he knows where he needs to take to gain an advantage. In the morning, when I go to the animal house and look at the bears in the room in turn, Misumi is always in this position. It's cool and cool. It's tempting to say, "Good morning, Misumi!" Other bears bang on the door, saying, "Get out quickly," but this is Misumi. Wait patiently for your turn to open the door in this position. (He realizes something...) ← Zookeeper: K "It's noisy, leave me alone," Misumi said. (^^) Good night! [Zookeeper: Ito]

Wonderful Autumn

Today, the temperature is clear and easy to squirm in. The summer sun is glaring, but the autumn sun feels gentle, doesn't it? Recently, I have noticed that more and more customers are bringing binoculars with them. I feel like that is increasing every year. Does it mean that customers come with the feeling of "I'm going to look for bears!" rather than "I'm going to see bears"? As a zookeeper, I am very happy to see the "spirit" of the customer. Beyond the line of sight...

Bear point on a rainy day. Koji relaxes in his usual place (at the edge of the pond). Closing or opening your eyes, bothering you about something? A short distance away from Koji, Hirotake is putting a little bit on Rokuta. Are you inviting them to play? Lokta seems a little annoying...? Koji is glancing at the situation. The moment when Hirotake lightly put his front paws on Rokuta! Koji finally came up. (Right: Koji, Left Hashi: Rokuta, Center: Hirotake) Did you mistakenly think that Hirotake was being bullied even though Hirotake was putting a little bit of pressure on him? He was getting closer and closer, glaring at Locta. Koji tends to care about Hirotake to the point of worry. In the past, when Hirotake ate too much salmon and returned a little "oh", I was worried and went out of my way to check on him, and I saw Hirotake walk to Bear Point and turned back to where I used to be. In the wild, it is an animal that acts alone, but it seems that when many bears live within a defined range, they naturally acquire social skills. It's really interesting to observe. It will be an interesting research theme for the future. [Zookeeper: Ito] Today's bonus Beautiful autumn leaves near Bear Point ・・・ Autumn leaf hunting (^^) even though I am at work

Today's Souvenir

Yesterday, I went to Urahoro for personal business. When I entered the park, there were many Mizunara trees, and there were acorns under them that made me cry out, "Wow!" My colleague and I picked it up in a plastic bag. I feel like I've been picking up a lot of acorns lately... When I looked around, there were a few people who were collecting them just like us. Is this what it feels like to be a bear eating nuts while picking them up? I suddenly thought. Somehow, I feel that the grains are larger than the acorns I see in Sahoro. Also, there were a lot of mountain grapes. I tasted it on the spot, but after all it was suppai! !! This morning, I gave it to Hirotake and Joiner at the animal barn. I thought → I would eat acorns, chubby and crispy grapes, → remove the fruit from the bunch cleanly, but I munched on it as it was. ← like this (^^) After that, when I was cleaning the room, I found that almost undigested Yama grape grains came out in the poop of Suzunosuke. Pop Po Poto Poto

Recently, there have been acorns on the side of the road, so I thought I would give them to the bears, so today I was spreading the acorns near the ticket gates. Then the bus driver told me, "The acorns here are eaten by the squirrels who often come here." They leave the fallen acorns on the curb in front of the ticket gates. Then, the next morning, there were marks from eating! I thought, "Wow, that's wonderful, everyone is busy getting ready for winter," and I was walking along the pedestrian bridge toward Bear Point. Potopoto, Potopoto・・・・・Potopoto I looked up and said, "What the hell?!" and saw the acorn crows falling. What a wonderful thing! A chipmunk is eating acorns on my head!! I wondered if I would be noticed, so I got down on my knees and looked at me with a stupid face with my mouth open. Chipmunks are already obsessed with acorns. They eat this one, eat this one, and then they say, "Whoa, this is worm-eaten," and they don't eat the acorns with the little worm-eaten holes, but drop them. I'm so stuffed that I'm worried about whether I'll be able to get it out later. It seems that it is rare for a chipmunk to climb a tall tree, and sometimes it loses its balance and almost falls, but it manages to cling to it and says, "One fight!" I contacted the driver I had just talked to by radio and decided to take a picture, so I hurriedly took my camera and when I came back, I climbed up the tree and ate it. I couldn't stop the excitement and excitement and the grin on my face like when I found a creature I had never seen before as a child. Natural Kumajarashi

Perhaps because of the strong wind last night, there were many dead branches falling in the park today. Today, the bear's breath turned white, and at one point it even rained hail! Is it the effect of the cold?! I think there were many bears sleeping in each place from the morning. The joiner immediately sits down in his favorite yabu, digging up the ground two or three times, and feeling like he has become a "good anbai". I went to bed and slumbered in a daze, and woke up at half past two. When I thought, "I'm dressed strangely," I lay on my back and played with the drooping branches of the birch. It flutters its legs and hides its golden head. Sometimes I lift the thick dead branches that have fallen and bench press ...! Amazing! I played for about 40 minutes without getting bored. After that, I munched on the green grass on the ground. Joiner is a gluttonous person and usually walks around all day looking for food, but today he was more "playful" than "gluttonous"? The watching bus also encountered the scene at the right time, so the customers who were able to see it were very lucky★. ・' It was fun (^▽^) for me to play hide and seek while filming (I stopped the car in the distance and watched it because the jeep might distract the joiner if it was nearby.
