They eat food and sleep in the animal pen, bask in the sun in the sub paddock, and rub their backs...

After eating their food, they all fall asleep with full bellies and contented faces.

Well, our winter preparations are progressing smoothly. Removing electric fences, draining water from facilities, preparing vehicles in the park for wintering, installing control panels on the grids of animal enclosures, maintaining roads, moving offices...It's something that happens every year, but every year I find myself thinking, ``Wow, that's all there is to it!''

I'm sure we're not the only ones who feel like winter is getting closer and closer.
