Hirotake and Santa are conscious of each other

Santa eats salmon as a gift of autumn salmon. Hirotake approaches Santa and threatens him, and even though Santa retreats and heads towards the pond, he doesn't steal the salmon and instead marks it. These two dogs, who are similar in age and have similar physiques, have recently become aware of each other. The scar on his side was from Santa.

Autumn Salmon Present Day 1

It’s finally three days off! For three days starting today, we will be holding an event called giving autumn salmon to brown bears. On the first day, Kouji, Hirotake, and Santa receive autumn salmon as presents. If you release salmon in front of Hirotake, they won't show much interest. Are you feeling unwell today? Next is Santa on the rocks. It holds the salmon in place with its forelimbs, and at first it makes a gesture as if it is stroking it with its claws. It's like taking scales off! ? After that, he started biting while holding it with great care. Santa takes a bite from the gills of the salmon and munches on it. Then, did you hear the salmon information? Joyner has arrived. But I can't steal the salmon that Santa, who is stronger than me, is eating. Joyner just watches from a distance. This sense of distance is painful. When I suddenly turned my attention to the pond, I saw Hirotake chasing the salmon with his face in it. I watched it for a while, but with disappointing results (>_<;) Joyner was playing with catching salmon yesterday, and Hirotake, who is an expert at catching fish. I'm practicing (?) in a place I can't see, so I'm looking forward to tomorrow!

You're an actor, Joyner.

The Bear Watching Bus was filled with cheers of "Wow!" and the sound of the shutter shutter sound. After that, I went to the back of the bamboo bush and tried to push the broken short tree further and try to break it. Did you press it 2 or 3 times and give up? Joyner walked to the back again. Even so, he's an actor when he's looking at the camera. The 4th Sketch Drawing Contest works exhibition is being held in front of the ticket office! Please vote for your favorite work <(_ _)>

B☆B Return by promenade course

B☆B took a bear watching bus to Bear Point and got very close to a brown bear. I returned while looking for brown bears on the promenade course. The weather was nice, and B☆B's trademark mohawk sparkled in the sunlight, making him even more manly. In fact, he came to Bear Mountain this time for an interview with ``212 Monogatari.'' ``212 Monogatari'' is a 10-year program that will visit all 212 municipalities in Hokkaido at the time the Nippon Ham Fighters moved to Hokkaido. This is a huge project, and one year's worth of footage will be released on DVD. Shintoku Town is scheduled to be included on next year's DVD, so I'm looking forward to it with great anticipation. There are also meet-and-greets with local fans in the towns we visit. B☆B is known for its enthusiastic fan service and is said to be the best mascot of the 12 teams. When I asked her to take a photo for my blog, she happily agreed, and she posed for me many times. We're all the same bears, so I'm looking forward to the day when we can visit again. B☆B Petit Information Usually, his mohawk is black, but for Sunday's appearance, it was orange. And on special occasions, she sometimes wears ``white,'' and even a regent or afro version.

How to use your limbs

As I previously introduced in ``Bears are very dexterous.'' Brown bears are skillful in using their large hands (forelimbs). When they play in the water, they use things like tree branches like toys, and I always see them placing them on the back of their hands. This time, I took a rare photo of him holding it between his fingers, and when I thought, ``He's grabbing the branch with what humans would call a palm,'' he found that he was supporting it with his hind legs. Bears are dexterous, and their limbs spread out a lot, so their bodies are flexible. Starring: Santa

Too close? Koji and Hirotake

Koji and Hirotake always act together. Today, the two of us marked the trail from the bus path to the large tree below the final point of the promenade, ``End Point.'' After that, I thought I was going to go into a stream, but instead I went into a bamboo bush. I tried adding dubbing without permission. Hirotake: ``Hey, let's play.'' Kouji: ``I'll mark it now, then later.'' Hirotake rests his chin on it and clings to him. Kouji: ``Ah, I can't scrub (angry).'' He leaves... Hirotake: ``Koji has gone.'' Cleaning the pond.

Misumi. Hello. It is Kurokawa who loves Misumi. According to the calendar, it is already the beginning of autumn, but the intense heat will continue. Honestly, I want to let go of work and play in the river. Beer! Let's weigh ourselves. Well, we cleaned the pond for them who work non-stop in this hot weather. No, no, it's quite a fun water job. Koji pooped in the pond, so wash it clean. It seems that underwater defecation feels good. Koji (left) and Hirotake (right) The pond is beautiful, but the rocky area is cooler and feels better. They don't act as easily as we would like, but we enjoy every day. As an aside, if you do the grass mowing work of Bear Mountain, you will lose weight!! 【Breeding: Kurokawa】

Kumaemon who cares about something

Bear Emon has been quiet lately, but he was quick to react to the ice in front of Bear Point. Holding it down with its forelimbs, she tries to scrape the snack out with her sharp claws. However, something seems to be worrisome, so I look up and look at it. The reason for this was... the bear approached from behind, so he seemed to be worried about whether to take the ice. But he didn't seem interested in the ice, so he walked past.

Please be careful!!!!

A customer said, ``It's stuffy.'' It seemed like he was teaching Kouji that there was a fly on his back. Brown bears living in the forest don't have to worry about insects. It often lands on my back, but if I look closely, I see that it has put its head in and sucks blood (ノ゜?゜)ノ It's probably an acausiaf. It looks like a wasp, but it doesn't have a stinger in its butt. Like mosquitoes, they suck blood through their mouths, but after being sucked, they swell up. Kouji is being attacked by a horsefly (>_<;) But it's okay. Brown bears have about 5cm of subcutaneous fat even in summer, so it doesn't seem to bother them at all. Even after finishing sucking, Abu doesn't leave Kouji's back. Are you trying again because you can't smoke? Or has Kouji's trusty back become more comfortable? I don't know, but please be careful not to get your blood sucked.

Points to find the bears!

It's really hot this year! ! Brown bears are sensitive to heat and often stay near water to cool off. For example, when I went on a bear watching bus... I saw Santa (front left) and Kota (back right) in the stream flowing from Bear Point, Kumaemon in the puddle on the curve that curved around in front of the forest after passing the end point of the promenade course, Dogfish in the puddle on the other side of the small hill, and Kouji (left), Hirotake (center), and Lion Maru (right) in the pond at Pair Point. In addition, there is a large stream just below the end point of the promenade course, which is also a popular spot ☆ The best part of Bear Mountain is seeing innocent people enjoying playing in the water.
