The new arrivals Moko & Hinata seem to have gotten used to the environment of the animal house and sub-paddock. I haven't fully grasped the personalities of the two horses yet, but I would like to introduce them a little. 　Moko is 8 years old and is Clinton's son. The whole body is black and has shiny hair. 　It is characterized by its sweet ears, and when you look at it like this, it looks just like your parent's Clinton! 　Hinata, 9 years old, Santa and his twin brother, were born in the wild and lived on a bear ranch under the protection of Noboribetsu Bear. 　　They like butterbur and acorns, and if you give them to them, they will eat them. 　Say hello to Santa across the gate. 3連休の最終日、秋鮭プレゼントの後に凍らしておいたスイカまるごともあげてみました。 コウジが好反応♪ ドボンと落ちてきたスイカまるごとを左前肢で抱え、3本肢で後退りし、食べやすい場所へ移動。 大事にスイカを押さえながらガブリとかぶりつくと、スイカはパックリ割れました。 見てください、この満足そうな顔(*^-^)　まるで「うまっ！！」と言っているようですよね。 さて、スイカのにおい？を嗅ぎつけて、サンタ参上。 池の淵から「オレにもよこせー」と唸り声をあげています。 そして威嚇をしながら、淵にあるスイカをすくい上げ、 パクリ。 美味しすぎてよだれダラダラ。 さっきサケを食べたばかりなのに、よだれがとまりませんっ！！ 園長がコウジの行動”3本肢で後退りするのは初めて見た”と驚いています。貴重な行動が見られた秋鮭プレゼントのおまけでした。 大きな手で大事そうに抱えています。

本日が最終日となる秋鮭プレゼント。 やる気まんまんで上にいる飼育スタッフの行動をチェックしているサンタ、後ろの右肢が浮いているのがポイント！ さて、今日は名人ヒロタケ選手がいませんでしたが どうだったのでしょうか。 そして昨日は鮭獲りが出来たジョイナーですが、今日は初日同様、池に入りたいけどサンタとコウジがこわいから入れない・・・と遠くから見てるだけ。（写真左） それにしてもサンタと比べると、 ジョイナーの前肢太くないですかぁ！

やっぱりやってくれました。ベア･マウンテンの鮭獲り名人ヒロタケ。 池の深い方でつかまえた鮭を独り占めするため 一度、池からあがり 手前の浅瀬に移動。 後ろではジョイナーとコウジが小競り合い 昨日、近づけなかったジョイナーはイライラモード？ 岩に押さえつけながらかぶりつき。 頭の方から食べていました。 昨日は反応しなかったクマたちですが、 今日は大成功y(￣ー￣)y 明日も13時よりやりまーす！ 今日はジョイナーもGet！ 写真で見ると活きの良いサケのように見えますが、 実はすでにつかまえたもの。 食べるというよりは、つかまえては放し、またつかまえては放しの 繰り返し。おもちゃにしています・・・(-_-;)

秋鮭プレゼントでサケを食べるサンタ。 ヒロタケはそんなサンタに近づき威嚇、 サンタが後退りし池へ向かったのにサケを横取りするでもなくマーキング。 年も近く、体格も大差ないこの2頭、最近意識しあう存在となっています。 横腹の傷跡は、サンタにやられたもの。

いよいよ3連休！ 今日から3日間、ヒグマに秋鮭プレゼントというイベントを行います。 初日、秋鮭をプレゼントしてもらうのはコウジ・ヒロタケ・サンタ。 ヒロタケの前に鮭を放すと・・・ あまり興味を示しません。今日は調子が悪いかな？ 次は岩場にいるサンタ。 前肢で鮭をおさえこみ、最初は爪でなでるような仕草。 まるでウロコを取っているよう！？ その後、大事そうに抱え込みながら食いつきはじめました。 サンタはサケのエラからかぶりつき、むしゃむしゃ。 すると、サケ情報が耳に入ったのか？ ジョイナーがやってきました。 でも自分より強いサンタが食べているサケを 横取りすることなんかできない。 遠くから眺めるだけのジョイナー。 この距離感がせつない ふと池に目を移すと、ヒロタケが顔を入れサケを追っています。 しばらく見ていましたが、残念な結果に(>_<;) 昨日はサケをつかまえて遊んでいたジョイナー、そして魚とり名人のヒロタケ。 見ていない場所で練習（？）しているので、明日に期待！

一眼レフカメラの前で「撮ってくれ」といわんばかりのカメラ目線☆ ベアウォッチングバス車内も「ワオー！」の歓声と、シャッター音で盛り上がりました。 その後、笹薮の奥へ行き折れた短い背丈の木をさらに押して折ろうとするような行動をしました。 2・3回押してあきらめたのか？ また奥へと歩いて行ってしまったジョイナー。 それにしてもカメラ目線なんて、役者やのぉ。 チケット売場前にて第4回写生画コンテスト作品展覧会開催中！ お気に入りの作品に投票をお願いします<(_ _)>

ベアウォッチングバスに乗りベアポイントへ行き ヒグマと大接近したB☆B。 遊歩道コースでヒグマを探しながら戻りました。 お天気にも恵まれ、B☆Bのトレードマークのモヒカンは 陽の光が当たりキラキラと輝き男前度アップ☆ 実は今回「212物語」の取材でベア･マウンテンに来てくれました。 「212物語」とは、日本ハムファイターズが北海道に移転した当時の全道212市町村を10年間かけて全て訪問する。という壮大なプロジェクトで、1年分の映像がDVDとして発売されます。 新得町は来年のDVDに収録される予定なので、首をながーくして楽しみに待ちたいと思います。 また訪れた町では、地元ファンとの交流会も実施されているんですよ。 12球団のマスコット随一といわれるファンサービスの熱心さで知られるB☆B。 ブログ用に写真をお願いしたら快くOKしてくれましたし、何度もポーズを決めてくれました。 同じクマ同士なので、また訪れてくれる日を楽しみにしたいと思います。 B☆Bプチ情報 通常、モヒカンは黒だが、日曜日の出演時はオレンジ色に。 そして特別な日には稀に”白”、更にリーゼントやアフロVer.の時もあるそうですよ。

以前「クマってとっても器用なんです。」でご紹介したように、 大きな手（前肢）を器用に使いこなすヒグマたち。 水の中で遊ぶ時、木の枝などをおもちゃのように 使っているのですが、 人間でいう手の甲の上に乗せている しぐさをいつも目にします。 今回は珍しく指と指の間に挟んでいるところを激写 そして人間でいう手のひらの部分でで「枝をつかんでいるー！」 と思ったら、後肢で支えていました。 クマは器用ですし、肢もたくさん広がるのでカラダも柔らかいんです。 出演：サンタ

いつも一緒に行動するコウジとヒロタケ。 今日も2頭でバス道から遊歩道の最終地点「エンドポイント」下にある大木でマーキング。 その後、沢に入るかと思いきや笹薮の中へ。 勝手にアフレコ入れてみました。 ヒロタケ「ねーねー、遊ぼうよ」 コウジ「今、マーキングしてっからあとで」 ヒロタケ　あごのせてペッタリとくっつく コウジ「あーっ、ゴシゴシしずらい（怒）」去って行く・・・ ヒロタケ「コウジ行っちゃった」　後ろ姿を見つめる 　　　　　「いいもん、コウジのにおいを付けて我慢するもん」 　　　　　しばらくゴシゴシ 　　　　　「やっぱり追いかけようっと。」コウジの後を追いかける とは思っていないでしょうけどね。(^^;;
