I had a wonderful encounter today.
3s Three Ezo chipmunks suddenly came out from the side of the bus road.
Judging from the size of their bodies, I think they are sibling squirrels that were born between spring and summer of this year.
I crossed the bus road and went down to Sasayabu on the valley side.
I crossed the street near Kota, who was on the bus route, but neither he nor the three squirrel siblings seemed to be particularly concerned about it, just going about their business as if it was normal for them to be there.
A few days ago, I encountered a cicada shedding its skin near the ticket gate on the promenade.
Did it fall from a tree?
It was lying defenseless on the road, so after I asked for its help in taking a photo, I returned it to the tree.
When I held it in my hand, I was very surprised because it vibrated like a cell phone vibrating, but it was a valuable experience as I could feel how alive it was.
I'm sure people have different tastes and dislikes of insects, but there's a lot we can learn from them as a form of life that thrives in the great outdoors.
(I don't like spiders or insects with many legs...lol)
