We are praying under a cold sky with a temperature of -10 degrees Celsius. As a joke, we are measuring the sleeping breaths of brown bears. There is a ventilation hole on the roof of the animal enclosure, from which you can check on the breathing of the brown bears during the winter. Because it slows down metabolism, breathing rate also decreases. They only breathe about 2-3 times per minute. Check by holding one side of the tube visible at T time with your hand and holding the other side to your ear. Whether it's a sunny day or a blizzard, this is an essential and important task. Bear Mountain is the only place in the world where animals hibernate in groups during the winter in captivity. This year is our 8th winter.

Bear Mountain was closed due to snowfall. The snow has been removed from the park and the promenade, and we are now open for business with only 3 days left. In the past, there has been snow in the park when it opened in April, but this is the first time it has snowed in the fall. The light snow surface makes it easy to spot bears. And there are autumn leaves in the back. Just two days left to enjoy autumn and winter all at once, Bear Mountain will close for the 2013 season on October 20th (Sunday).

Annual Autumn Event ``Present Autumn Salmon to Brown Bears'' With the cooperation of the Tokachi-Kushiro Prefecture Salmon and Trout Breeding Business Association, we are able to give such fine autumn salmon to brown bears. It's about 50cm long. When we released water into the pond, Hinata reacted. I will chase you desperately. The first fish was won by autumn salmon. September has arrived, and the day of farewell has finally arrived. Chocolat and Maron can be seen at Sahoro until tomorrow (9/3). It's lonely. . . (T_T) However, this small exhibition space can be stressful. It's also a good thing for Chocolat and Maron. Even after returning to Noboribetsu Bear Farm, I want you to grow up to be caring, beautiful, and without forgetting your Sahoro spirit (?). A cage for transportation was prepared at Bear Point. That's how much I've grown. As of 8/20, Maron weighs 28Kg! ! The Kouma exhibit area is getting smaller, so we have decided on the day to return to Noboribetsu Bear Farm. He's doing well at Bear Mountain for the next few days, so please come and visit us. The Kogma exhibit will be on display until September 3rd.

The Santa Hinata twins were wrestling in front of the glass, competing to see who could open their mouths wide. When I hit the glass with a bang during wrestling, the audience cheered. And the small child was crying, saying, "I'm scared..." Bear Mountain is the only place where you can see a powerful brown bear that will make your child cry. surely.

Sahoro continues to rain. Although Hokkaido does not have a rainy season, the ``Ezo rainy season'' seems to be dragging on. Bear Mountain can be enjoyed even in such weather! The bears continue to live their lives as usual, whether it rains or snows. If you take the bear watching bus, you can go see the bears without getting wet in the rain ♪ Rental umbrellas are also free ☆ Rainbows are more likely to occur after the rain, so if you time it right, you might even see one.

Hey everyone, now that we're in July, how are you doing?
