September 8, 2020 Male Ezo brown bear in captivity
"Atarou" (25 years old) passed away.
He started to feel unwell from the 5th, and under the guidance of a veterinarian, we refrained from releasing him.
I was resting in the animal shelter, but around 12 noon on the 8th, my condition suddenly changed.
The result was unfortunate.
It has been about 6 years since I became a member of Bear Mountain.
Small body, go-at-your-own-pace personality, and a very cute way of sitting
(named Ataro Sitting), it had a strong presence.
I am very grateful to all of you for being so kind to me.
We are very grateful to all the caretakers.
