Santa has joined Bear Mountain this year.
At 7 years old, he is young and still smaller than the others. The characteristic feature is the large white spots on the neck.
Santa was born in the wild and was rescued when he was a little bear. Since they have lived in the wild for a short period of time, I hope they will eat the wildflowers that grow naturally within Bear Mountain Park.
I took it out to the sub paddock today and it was rubbing its back as it smelled the trees and walls! I'm full of energy.
I tried feeding it some fukinotou that I had picked, but the only ones that had sprouted and had grown quite a bit, so maybe it was bitter? I bit into it and spat it out. I hope that delicious wildflowers will start to grow quickly from now on into summer.
