Ah, I slept well (104 days)
It's been a while, everyone.
Sorry for not being able to post much during the winter.
We are pleased to report that all 11 Ezo brown bears on Bear Mountain have successfully completed their winter hiatus and have welcomed spring.
(Thank you to everyone who participated in the winter observation tour.)
It's been a while since I took the bears out to the playground, so I took a photo of them.
I haven't eaten anything for over 100 days, but I'm not bald and have a healthy body. (However, depending on the individual, the weight may decrease by about 60 kg to 100 kg.)
They are a parent and child of Kouta and Hirotake.
The one on the left that is too black is Kouta. They were seen moving around on the snow and sniffing trees.
On another note, two new Ezo brown bears have joined Bear Mountain...
I don't have any photos because I'm still getting used to the new environment, but I'd like to introduce them later.
This season's Bear Mountain Open is scheduled for Sunday, April 28th.
All the bears and staff are looking forward to your visit!
