This winter seems to be rough all over the country, but the weather in the Tokachi region has continued to be nice lately, and Bear Mountain is also blessed with blue skies, which makes it feel very nice (^.^)
Today, we went into the park and did some snow removal work.
As you can see, the slope that leads up to the promenade, which is crowded with people when it's open, gets buried in snow if no one is walking on it (><)
Even a bear stands up like this...
It is difficult to remove the snow that has accumulated on the fall prevention nets on the promenade, and the recent cold weather has made the snow compact and very heavy, so it is quite hard work... ('>.<)
Bear Mountain, which is buried under snow, is now steadily preparing for its opening in the spring!
