It's been about two weeks since I woke up from winter hibernation, and today is my first sub-paddock release of the year.

The brown bears, who have been lying down and not eating for about three months, are bathing in sunlight for the first time in a while.

Snow will be removed by hand from the fence area, but this year, based on what we learned from previous years, we divided the snow into three parts and removed the snow in small increments.

Even though the snow has finally been removed after much effort, the brown bears are playing with it, digging in it with one hand as if it were ``soft tofu.''

That’s amazing power (ノ゜?゜)ノ!!

As they play in the sub-paddock, they walk and run on the snow with steady steps. His body doesn't seem to have lost much weight, and his muscles don't seem to be weakening, so I'm relieved that he's healthy and healthy.
