All the bears have gone into winter hiatus. (Currently on day 29 of fasting)

Santa and Hirotake remained the "young duo" until the end, but now their breathing rate has decreased and their breathing is deep and stable when they sleep.

The past few days have been so cold that the outside temperature was -11 degrees Celsius, and on some days the temperature inside the animal enclosure was -6 degrees Celsius, but the bears were sleeping comfortably on the straw beds they had made themselves.

Now, preparations for Bear Mountain's April opening have begun.

Today we shoveled snow from the large gate inside Bear Point.

The strategy is to shovel the snow around the gates, open the gates, and then use a snow blower to quickly blow away the snow in the safe area (the wide space between the gates).

The detailed work around the gates has to be done by hand by hand, but since it's a small space, I can't change my position, and it quickly becomes difficult (lol).

I took it easy in the beginning and threw snow in a nearby area, but the place I was throwing snow got higher and higher like a mountain, and in the latter part I got tired and had to throw it in higher places.
