Bear Mountain's bears have a "home" that they return to in the evening.

It's a building called a beast house, and there are private rooms inside. (In the winter, I hunker down in this room.)

Near dusk, the bears walk back to the animal shelter. (Accurate lap clock?!)

In the animal house, we feed the animals once a day in the evening.

And then! The best thing to look forward to today is sweet and delicious watermelon!

I gave it to all 18 bears.

A bear eats the skin of a watermelon, and a bear scrapes off the fruit, leaving the skin on. . .

Seeing the bears eating so deliciously made me want to eat watermelon too! lol
