Now, a small pond in the center of Bear Point.

The pond was handmade by the zookeeper, and we had some lovely visitors this year as well.

This is Ezo red frog.

When I looked at the rocky area, I saw eggs!

There were no eggs yesterday, so I guess they laid eggs from last night to this morning.

There are about 10 Ezo red frogs in the pond, and they are chirping with a beautiful voice, ``Kuwa, kuwa.''

This frog is very popular not only with children but also with adults.

Last year, spawning was confirmed on May 2nd, and this year it was one day later, on May 3rd.

I'm looking forward to becoming a tadpole in the pond (^^)
