We will begin operations for 2009 from today.
During the winter, all the animals were kept in captivity and underwent the "winter confinement" which is their natural ecology, and they spent about 100 days without eating food. The brown bears have come out of winter hiatus and are living happily on Bear Mountain this season.
This season as well, all of our staff will keep safety measures in mind, and hope that Bear Mountain will not only be a moving experience, but also an opportunity to think about nature conservation and coexistence with wild animals.
More like Hokkaido, more like Tokachi. We look forward to seeing you there.
