Shingo and Inuo, the oldest members of Bear Mountain, are 25 years old.
In human terms, that would be over 70. The two dogs usually don't fight and live together peacefully.
The other day, I witnessed Shingo's manly and energetic figure!
After having fun bathing in the Bear Point pond...
“I’m here!!”
“There you are!!”
I hugged a nearby tree and gushed my neck. Scratch my back.
I was able to see a back rub that is rarely seen!
I don't have many chances to see old bears rub their backs, so I couldn't help but think, "Shingo rubbed his back!"
I screamed.
It was a wonderful back rub that made everyone aware of my presence! Yay! Shingo!
Sahoro is still experiencing some lingering heat, but the mornings and evenings are getting colder and it's starting to feel more like autumn.
The bears must also gradually prepare their bodies for the winter months.
Their appetite increases and they become more active in search of food.
The acorns of Mizunara in the park have also grown so big! Rowan berries are also a beautiful red!
