I started Dobon Watermelon

Sahoro is over 30 degrees Celsius today. But there is a breeze so it's refreshing, as you would expect from a highland resort. The summer events ``Dobbone Watermelon'' and ``Gift of Ice to Brown Bears'' have started today. The watermelons and melons we give to the bears at Dokboon Watermelon are frozen. When you see how crunchy watermelons and melons can be chewed over by a bear, you must take precautions to avoid encountering bears when climbing mountains, fishing, camping, etc.! It makes me think. Anyway, it's a luxurious summer time to be able to receive watermelons and melons ☆

Over 30℃

Sahoro's temperature exceeded 30℃ today. It was hot, wasn't it? I was expecting it to be hot, so I gave Sara and Moco ice cubes before the bears did. But! Two people who are not interested at all. . . Maybe I should have put some snacks in the ice? From this Saturday, ``Ice Present for Brown Bear'' and ``Dobbon Watermelon'' will begin. Please come and meet the bears who don't give in to the summer heat!

2 to 1

Board the last bus leaving at 15:20 and head into the park. As the setting sun shines through, we find three of them ☆ As we approach... Santa & Hinata (the two on the back) vs. Kouji (in the back) are in a standoff. I quickly turned on the camera, but Koji was like a big brother to me even at Bear Mountain, so the fight ended without a big fight. Santa and Hinata are twins, so if their opponent had been a different bear instead of Kouji, they might have teamed up and gotten into a fight! ? Still, it's impressive!

Even though it's hot, the bears are doing well!

Last week we were blessed with good weather and had a series of very hot days. Even in Sahoro, the temperature has risen to 30 degrees Celsius, and the staff are getting tanned. By the way, I don't think you'll see any bears on such a hot day. ? ? That's what you think. The bears at Bear Mountain are different, aren't they? Well, there are some bears taking a nap in the shade of the trees. . . When I zoomed in, I saw that his eyes were open (@_@;) He was breathing deeply and was sleeping comfortably. (They're lying down and resting.) And they're more active than you might think, playing in the pond in front of Bear Point and gathering in the cool cave ♪ And a continuation of the previous episode. Hirotake gets addicted to playing with sandbags at the edge of the pond. I'm trying to pull out a new sandbag. Bears tend to gather near water on hot days, so this is a recommended spot to look for bears.

Fresh green and glitter

Clear skies for the first time in a while! The weather forecast says it will continue to be sunny this week, so it's finally time to wear short sleeves. And today I took a ride in a jeep to take some stills for next year. When the sunlight hits the fresh greenery, it sparkles and becomes very beautiful. Koji also poses with a green background. I usually take photos through glass or from high places, so I decided to take a close-up photo just for this occasion. Clinton is characterized by her pointed triangular ears. From a distance, it's hard to see because of its black fur, but when you look closer, you can see that it has a golden nose. Kouji again. Kouji is handsome enough to be on the cover of this year's pamphlet. Even if you close it up, it still looks like a picture. The forelimbs of a dogfish. You can see five long nails. What's on the back of your hand isn't sand, but a snack. Since he's a grandpa bear, he doesn't seem to gain weight even if he eats. (I'm jealous...) It's only now that you can get the sparkling feeling of fresh greenery. After a little while, the green will become thicker.

Hirotake is obsessed with sandbags

Sandbags placed at the edge of the pond to regulate the water level. They play with sandbags that weigh about 20 kg as toys. I put a lot of effort into it...but it looks like it's going to be fun, so I guess it's okay.
