Baby Bear-san Sanjo!! & One Day Brown Bear

Hello! Suddenly, there is a brown bear cub coming to Bear Mountain right now! (Until the end of June) This time, I will introduce this child and introduce a little about the bears that can only be seen by taking the bus. As I wrote earlier, the cub bears are waiting for you at Bear Point!! Seeing that he was alone every day in a large gauge, the zookeepers joined forces to create a toy for the cub. When I put it in immediately, he climbed and bit hard and showed an adorable side. There is no doubt that you will be healed by this loveliness!? LOL Please come to Bear Mountain! ※ Call for names at Bear Point until May 31 The next photo is Kouta-kun! When the zookeeper points the camera at ... He came closer! Maybe Kouta likes to be photographed. To see this up close, get on the bus and look for the bear. Suddenly, Kouta and other bears may appear from the grass...! Sometimes the zookeeper may show a figure that you have never seen, so please aim for the best shot. Lastly, I would like to talk about the bear's eating habits. Do you know what bears eat on a daily basis? Actually, I don't eat a lot of meat. The center of food is plants! It's a surprise photo of Mitt eating a naturally growing plant. Bears basically eat plants, and eat insects and dead animals through summer and autumn. Eating meat is like eating a lot to store nutrition before winter! Please remember that bears are animals that do not hunt much. Breeding Ebizawa

Start waking up from winter! ?

The warm days have been around since about the middle of this month, and the bears are starting to buzz. Normally, we start waking up around Enlightenment Day, but this year, there are many bears who get up early, and we are talking among the breeding staff. The photo on the left is on the roof of the barn, and the red circle mark is the ventilation opening of the room where the bear sleeps, usually with the lid covered. When the awakening from the winter begins, the bear itself opens and informs it of what has happened, perhaps... (Laughs) This season's winter care seems to be over safely, and the breeding staff is also relieved. Breeding Staff

Winter has begun.

With only a few days to go before this year, the bears on the bear mound are starting to enter the winter spree. This year, perhaps because the temperature dropped sharply, as soon as the rice straw from the nest material was put in the room, the winter weight switch was turned on, and the next day, the breathing frequency was also 2 ~ 3 times per minute, and the breeding staff was also a little surprised. The photo above is a big veteran bear "Yawara" in winter. Breeding Miyano

Is summer vacation around now?

Hello I'm Bear Mountain, the temperature today is 22 degrees Celsius, it feels just right for us, but it may feel a little cold inland and for those who are not used to it. For the bears, I think it's probably like saying, "It's hot..." ( ̄ (d) ̄;)" (Because the appropriate temperature is 7°C ~) It looks fun and more than anything, I heard the story of a customer who passed by on the promenade, "There is a different goodness from Noboribetsu ~ It's interesting." ( ̄(エ) ̄) no" Arigatougo Zaimas!! Thank you for your kind words, the gesture of the bears in nature. I would be happy if you could feel that this is how you live in the forest. I sometimes get to see faces like this. In this season when the number of customers in the family group increases, well, speaking of summer vacation, children? What's up with your homework? ( ̄ (d) ̄;) Solo-Solo-Shuuban? If you don't mind, why don't you take the materials of Bear Mountain etc. or ask the older brothers of the staff to do free research on brown bear life? It was a pleasant windy day.

Bear Mountain is sunny today. There is a refreshing breeze blowing away the grime of this place. But guess what? I wrote on Facebook that it looks like a raccoon. A raccoon who is not a mountain relative, there is indeed a charm. The occipital region. You can see that it is leaning on the glass. The ears are bushy and cute, but the scent of an uncle wafts in the air. It's a bathroom... it's not a watering hole. If you put a towel on your head, it is an uncle in an open-air bath. Today, I went to Bear Mountain with an escort to the interview, and this is a video that reminds me of the words of the reporter who said, "You're human (laughs)." Bears who look the same like this and show different faces whenever they come. If you observe carefully when you come, you will see ♪ "Aha"

Suyasuya with everyone

It's a cloudy but slightly warm day, and it's a time when people don't move. Going to take a peek at the bears? I'm resting on everyone's day. A bear in the distance seen from the promenade? A look of sleepover. For those of us who live in Hokkaido, are bears scary? It's a nice existence, but it looks cute, Anyo stretches out and is full of pretentiousness, ♪ huh? Bears seeking shade

Bear Mountain on the second day after closing, today it is over 30 degrees. Bears were also conspicuous as they moved in search of a cool place. Let's go into the woods and see. "We apologize for the inconvenience" is not to say thank you. I'm looking for a snack that floats on the water. "Where?" The appropriate temperature for bears is said to be 7-4°C, so on a day like today, I go to the shade or the water's edge. It's a river that flows under the end area of the trail (to the right of the fork to Bear Point). Depending on the approaching bear, you can see the power relationship, the bears that are gently moving away, and the bears that put their mouths in the water and play with the "bumps". It is ♪ interesting to observe the bear of the day

Mitt and Twa

Mitt has just made his debut in the park. She was born twins in 2008 at Noboribetsu Bear Ranch. Mitt's twins, Towa (female), live at Maruyama Zoo in Sapporo. Because of this connection, Bear Mountain and Maruyama Zoo have posted POPs of mitts and towas. When you go to Maruyama Zoo's Ezo Brown Bear Pavilion, please also take a look at Mitt's POP. The time of day when I visited was bad, and Towa was not (T_T) in the exhibition hall Well, speaking of Maruyama Zoo, polar bears. I was just playing in the water, but I was playing with my tires submerged in the water. Although the body shape is different, the gesture of pushing with the front legs is the same as that of the brown bear. Playing with your head in the hole of the tire from underwater. This is a behavior that I have never seen in a brown bear. Brown bears do not get into the water like polar bears. I always stick my ears out of the water and check the surrounding situation (sound). Counter the cute gesture!? Santa appeals to the wildness. I'm ♪ also enjoying playing in the water How about a ladder trip between Mitt and Towa on the ladder of Bear Mountain and Maruyama Zoo?
